My name is Marcia Arceneaux and I am the creative talent and owner of Marceaux Photography.  When naming my studio, Marci, as I am called, decided to combine my first and last names into one, thus Mar-ceaux.  I am a resident of the Hammond/Ponchatoula area where I reside with my son, Luc (who is now away at college), husband, Brennan, and fur babies, Lola and Zuzu.  Both Brennan and I are professional musicians and music educators.  We also have three other children, Bridget, Jonathan and Miles, who are professional musicians and reside in the area, and with their five beautiful grandchildren!  We've got a couple of teachers of the year, a Grammy Winner and an All State choir and jazz kid all in the family!

Marceaux Photography specializes in Fine Portraits, Seniors, Family, Baby, professional head shots, and event Photography. From the time we meet a prospective client, through consultation and communication we pride ourselves on getting to know our clients and their needs and try to make a personal connection so that they can feel most comfortable during their portrait or event session.  We will tailor our session just for YOU, the client.  And we take pride in giving back to the music and performing arts programs that we work for!

Marceaux offers many portrait event packages, on-location photography and on-site printing for your events.  We also provide our clients with fine art prints, canvas, and framed portraits, along with albums, birth announcements, invitations, senior stadium and social media products.

Marceaux Photography is now located at [NEW LOCATION OPENING SOON]. We're so excited to finally have our own studio space. 

Marcia is a member of Professional Photographers of America.   She has won several awards from Professional Photographers of Louisiana, including two Judges choice awards at the Spring 2012 PPLA workshop, 1st Place portrait, Non-master's, 1st place Original Capture Non-master's and merited 5/6 prints in the 2013 PPLA State Convention Print competition.  She consistently attends photography and business workshops and considers continuing her education, mentoring and knowledge sharing extremely important in the art medium in which she works.

Brennan Arceneaux joined his wife as business manager and editing and Photoshop extraordinaire. Anyone that knows them understands that they make an amazing team in all they do!

Besides being a professional photographer, Marcia is a professional musician, flutist and teacher.  She's performed throughout the United States, Mexico, and Europe as both an ensemble musician and soloist.  Art, music and theatre have been a huge influence in her life and her life's work.  Her husband is professional musician, composer and arranger and her children are all performing musicians, actors, singers and educators.  Art and music are ingrained in their lives.  

When not photographing, performing and teaching the Arceneaux's can be found, donating their talents and services to causes dear to them, "playing music just fun at 1 am in the living room" or riding in their jeep, with the top down, of course.
